Anexciting opportunity is available for a highly motivated individual with akeen interest in developing their management and leadership skills as apermanent Night Nurse Practitioner for out-of-hours cover at CAH.
Thisnew permanent position will be supported by the senior nurse team at CAH. Itis an essential part of the out-of-hours service at CAH, given its peripherallocation. While the role requires operational and governance oversight, thisis supported by the out-of-hours team at the main site when needed (CSM andon-call HoN).
WorkingHours: Nights (19:00 07:30) and weekend days (07:00 19:30).

Thesuccessful applicant will need excellent communication and interpersonalskills and the ability to provide high-quality nursing care across a diverserange of patients. You should also be committed to ongoing professionaldevelopment and have evidence of such.
Trainingwill be provided to ensure you have the necessary skills and tools to excelin your role and maintain patient and staff safety. This will include athree-month supernumerary training period to ensure you are well-equipped foryour new role.

Thejobholder will demonstrate evidence-based care in the independent assessment,clinical examination, planning of care, clinical decision making, diagnosis,treatment, evaluation, health promotion and safe discharge of specific clientgroup within agreed protocols. The job holder will coordinate amultidisciplinary team of staff and implement nurse led care. They willparticipate in mentorship and teaching programmes for multi-disciplinarygroups within the department. The jobholder will provide senior nursingsupport, advice and professional leadership to a group clinical area.
