Night Nurse Nursing & EMI Home

Location: Liverpool GBP19.00 per hour 36 hours per week (nights)

A respected nursing and EMI home in Liverpool is currently seeking a dedicated Night Nurse to join its compassionate care team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high quality nursing care in a warm, respectful environment where residents are supported to live with dignity, comfort, and personal freedom.

Set within a homely, nurturing setting, the service supports older adults, including individuals living with dementia, through person centred care that promotes independence, personal interests, and quality of life day and night.

This well regarded home places great importance on creating a caring, friendly atmosphere that values individual choice. Social engagement and emotional wellbeing are at the heart of its approach, with a variety of activities such as music and arts, life skills, baking, gardening, pet care, and reminiscence therapy particularly beneficial for those with dementia.

The Role:

The Night Nurse will play a crucial role in delivering safe, effective, and person focused nursing care throughout the night. Working alongside a committed care team, the role involves both clinical responsibilities and emotional support for residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high standards of nursing care during night shifts
  • Administering medication and overseeing clinical interventions
  • Monitoring health conditions and responding to changing needs
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and care plan updates
  • Supporting residents with dignity, compassion, and professionalism
  • Working closely with the care team to maintain a calm and supportive overnight environment
  • Communicating effectively with families and other professionals

Candidate Requirements:

  • A valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
  • Experience in elderly care or EMI/dementia settings is desirable
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision making skills
  • Compassionate, calm, and confident under pressure
  • Committed to person-centred care and promoting independence
