Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced and talented Night Receptionist to join our fantastic venue.

The Role:

As a Night Receptionist, your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the primary point of contact for guests and staff during night hours.
• Supervising and supporting night staff, including front desk agents, porters, and security personnel.
• Overseeing night audit procedures, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and daily reconciliation.
• Managing and resolving guest complaints or emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Monitoring hotel security, conducting regular property walks, and liaising with external emergency services if needed.
• Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to address overnight issues or prepare for the next day.
• Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed, including health, safety, and confidentiality protocols.
• Preparing and delivering a nightly handover report for senior management.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a front office or supervisory role in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Maestro, or similar).
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations calmly.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• First Aid certification and/or security training is a plus.
