We are seeking an enthusiastic, calm under pressure, Night Manager, usually working a 4 on 4 off pattern of night shifts, although other patterns considered.

Your NIGHT MANAGER responsibilities will include:

  • Adopt a security and safety conscious attitude. Priority is to ensure our guest safety and satisfaction and safety of hotel property—check house lists, complete fire and safety walks, maintain quiet sleeping areas throughout nights.
  • Complete night checklists, including reception audits (keys, invoices, preparing for next day), complete cleaning schedules, prepare conference rooms and event space, check guests in and out, support guest queries, handle late service and early morning wake calls, and commence breakfast setup as required.
  • Attend to incidents during night service—responsible for checks and attendance in case of emergency services attendance.
  • Liaise with management regarding incidents, safety of guests and sites.
  • Act as an ambassador and duty manager responsible for site and team.
  • Lead Night Porter team across their multiple shifts and times.

Experience and skills for role:

  • Experience of Night Working (considerably advantageous).
  • Superb customer service skills—experience on a reception desk or similar is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 2 years hospitality experience preferred.
  • Experience of presenting an environment that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Excellent punctuality and attention to detail.
