From a Bradford market stall to the UK’s fourth largest supermarket, we are proud to be the Yorkshire food retailer serving customers across the UK through nearly 500 stores and an online home delivery service.

Our business primarily focuses on food & grocery, and uniquely, we source & process most of the fresh food we sell through our own manufacturing facilities. We are recruiting a high-performing Night Manager to support our continued growth and success.

Our colleagues work overnight to ensure our stores are ready for the thousands of customers who visit each day. As Night Manager, your role is to lead and empower our team to keep our stores customer-ready.

Reporting to the Store Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Leading and empowering colleagues to prioritize customer service
  • Responding to customer feedback effectively
  • Ensuring excellent product availability across the store
  • Collaborating with other managers to foster a supportive, performance-driven environment
  • Managing scheduling, absence, performance, and talent development within your department
  • Providing training to build team capability and confidence
  • Enabling colleagues to work confidently across departments
  • Identifying and nurturing talent within the team
  • Building strong relationships with other departments
  • Driving team performance to meet departmental targets
  • Taking a leadership role within the store
  • Planning resources effectively
