Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Farnborough is seeking a Licensed Mechanical Inspector for night shifts to ensure compliance with UK Civil Aviation Authority standards and MOE Part 145 for ongoing maintenance.

The role requires extensive line and base maintenance experience, aircraft inspection and certification know-how, and a proactive approach to safety, quality, and timely task completion across Farnborough and other locations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Extensive combination of line & base maintenance experience.
• Evidence of aircraft inspection and certification experience gained.
• UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance License with relevant Type Ratings; certification experience within a Part 145 organization.

Responsibilities

• Acting as an inspector in support of a specific aircraft, line or base maintenance input in accordance with MOE Part 145, as revised.
• Perform the day to day duties and responsibilities of a Licensed Mechanical Senior Inspector, when requested by a Service Team Manager.
• When requested by a Maintenance Team Leader or Service Team Manager, manage the daily manpower resources of licensed mechanical and avionics inspectors and fitters.
• Certify tasks on which they have been trained and authorised to perform, at Farnborough main base and other locations worldwide; may include Category 'C' certifications.
• Promote and ensure that maintenance commitments are fulfilled within the assigned timescale; notify STM/SM if delays.
• Ensure maintenance documentation is completed fully and prior to shift reassignment.
