Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Class 2 LGV Night Driver to support essential material deliveries across the region from Peterborough, following a published night shift rota. The role involves operating MHE equipment and ensuring safety and compliance.

You will respond to emergency call-outs, assist in warehouse tasks when not driving, and work as part of a team to maintain smooth, reliable logistics operations across Anglian Water sites.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Driving Licence (C) is required.
• MHE experience with reach/counterbalance/Moffett is required.
• Driver CPC qualification (DQC) is required.
• ADR/C+E vocational training is advantageous.
• HIAB training (lifting equipment) is beneficial.
• Shifts flexibility is required to meet essential services.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Adaptability to changing priorities while working across sites.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook) are expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials overnight to unmanned sites across the region.
• Respond to emergency call-outs with rapid, reliable support.
• Assist warehouse team with packing deliveries, stock checks and general logistics.
• Comply with EU transport rules, driver hours, and company safety standards.
