Job summary

The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa is seeking a Night Kitchen Porter to join our busy Back of House team to support our award-winning kitchens across the resort. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens and equipment such as pots, dishes, cleaning floors and waste management.

You will play an important role in keeping the kitchens operational by ensuring the chefs have the equipment they require. Permanent Full Time, 40 hrs per week, 5 days out of 7, 21:30 – 06:00.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic attitude towards the role.
• Reasonable grasp of English and ability to communicate with kitchen team.
• Ability to work varied shifts and be reliable to start/finish on time.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene.
• Ability to use and understand kitchen porter equipment and cleaning processes.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchens and equipment clean, including pots and dishes.
• Manage cleaning of floors and waste to maintain hygiene standards.
• Ensure chefs have clean, ready-to-use equipment as required.
• Support back-of-house operations to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

About the Role

An opportunity has become available for a Night Kitchen Porter to join our busy Back of House team to support our award‑winning kitchens across the resort. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens and equipment such as pots, dishes, cleaning floors and waste management. You will play an important role in keeping the kitchens operational by ensuring the chefs have the equipment they require.

Qualifications

Hours

Permanent Full Time, 40 hrs per week, 5 days out of 7, 21:30 – 06:00.

Salary

£28,742.62 per annum + TRONC.
