We’re on the lookout for a Night Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. You’ll be key in keeping our kitchen and backstage areas spotless.
What you’ll do…
- Wash pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly.
- Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and food preparation areas.
- Deep-clean kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, fryers) as per cleaning schedules.
- Ensure waste bins are emptied, cleaned, and relined regularly.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely in compliance with COSHH regulations.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including wearing PPE as required.
- Report any maintenance or health and safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed and signed off during the shift.
- Organise and store kitchen equipment properly after cleaning.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently during night shifts.
- Maintain good attention to detail and uphold high hygiene standards.
