Job description

We’re on the lookout for a Night Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. You’ll be key in keeping our kitchen and backstage areas spotless.

What you’ll do…

• Wash pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and food preparation areas.
• Deep-clean kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, fryers) as per cleaning schedules.
• Ensure waste bins are emptied, cleaned, and relined regularly.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely in compliance with COSHH regulations.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including wearing PPE as required.
• Report any maintenance or health and safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed and signed off during the shift.
• Organise and store kitchen equipment properly after cleaning.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently during night shifts.
• Maintain good attention to detail and uphold high hygiene standards.
