Job summary

IPL, Forza and Kober Foods is hiring an Assistant Hygiene Manager to join our Hygiene team. The role operates on a permanent night shift, Tue–Sat, 10pm–7am, site-based at Forza Foods.

You will support stock control, SOP updates, and BRC-aligned hygiene standards. You should bring trainer qualifications, IOSH safety training, and chemical handling knowledge, plus strong communication and leadership skills to drive a multi-skilled hygiene team forward.

Qualifications

• Training requirements include trainer certification and safety training.
• Proven ability to manage hygiene operations and lead teams.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in stock control and ordering of hygiene consumables and chemicals.
• Oversee auditing, hygiene SOPs and cleaning schedules to meet BRC standards.
• Manage day-to-day staff facilities and equipment.
• Conduct compliance audits and ensure staff trained in procedures.
• Develop multi-skilled hygiene team and supervise overtime when needed.
• Conduct investigations under HR procedures and manage absence/discipline meetings.
• Ensure proper documentation, filing, and COSHH risk assessments.
• Ensure waste handling compliance and safe working practices.
• Review GMP audits and update corrective actions.
