Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is recruiting a Hygiene Operative for Blue Earth Foods in Redditch, Worcestershire. This permanent night-shift role offers 45 hours per week at £14.16 per hour.

You will perform high and low risk hygiene tasks, operate cleaning equipment and work closely with the Hygiene Team Leader to maintain site standards. Full COSHH training is provided; IPAF is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner is desirable but not compulsory.
• Must complete COSHH training.
• IPAF desirable but not essential.
• Able to dismantle equipment and machinery as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high risk and low risk hygiene tasks such as washing equipment, walls, floors and overheads.
• Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation.
• Liaise with Hygiene Team Leader and ensure containers are labelled and locked.
• Work as part of a team to maintain high standards of hygiene across the site.
