Job Overview

We are seeking a Night Hygiene Operative to deliver routine and periodic cleaning services for a Mitie customer. The role involves adhering to SLA agreements and cleaning schedules to maintain high standards of hygiene.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high and low risk hygiene tasks, including washing equipment, walls, floors, overheads, mopping, belt cleaning, and using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.
  • Ensure visual and microbiological hygiene standards are consistently met across all site areas.
  • Work closely with the Hygiene Team Leader, handle chemicals safely, and ensure containers are labelled and secured.
  • Operate cleaning machinery and carry out deep sanitation tasks.
  • Dismantle equipment and machinery as needed, handling chemicals following COSHH training.
  • Operate IPAF equipment (desirable but not essential).
Requirements

Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner is preferred but not required, as full training will be provided.
