As a Night Hygiene Machine Minder, you will:
- Strip down and clean the machinery and conveyor belts as per the cleaning schedule, reassembling and ensuring the machine is properly working once complete
- Complete the relevant paperwork once the work has been completed
- Report any issues to your supervisor
- Report to the engineering and hygiene managers any maintenance requirements
- Write issues in the nightly log register
- Handle chemicals whilst cleaning the factory
- Be comfortable working in confined spaces
- Be comfortable working at height
- Be happy to work in hot and cold environments
Our ideal Night Hygiene Operative will:
- Understand the workings of machinery and conveyor belts
- Be able to work with manual and power tools
- Have good observational skills
- Have a passion for delivering our customer orders while ensuring high Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Product Quality standards are met
- Be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment
- Enjoy working at pace
- Be motivated to take action and achieve results
Previous experience working in a factory or warehouse environment is useful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
