Job summary

CV Consulting is seeking a Site Hygiene Manager for nights at a fast-paced FMCG site in Northamptonshire. You will lead two Hygiene Managers and around 40 Hygiene Operatives, driving cleaning efficiency and owning site hygiene standards.

You will develop the hygiene strategy, coordinate activities up to six months ahead, host customer visits, manage supplier relationships, monitor KPIs, and lead microbiological investigations to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing hygiene standards in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong people management skills, with ability to lead direct and indirect teams.
• Experience in high-risk or chilled foods is beneficial.
• Ability to influence, coordinate and align multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead two Hygiene Managers and ~40 Hygiene Operatives on the night shift.
• Drive continuous improvement in cleaning efficiency and effectiveness across the site.
• Owner of site hygiene standards with coaching and development of the team.
• Develop and coordinate the hygiene strategy up to six months ahead.
• Host customer visits and manage supplier/vendor relationships.
• Promote and strengthen a positive health and safety culture.
• Monitor, manage and deliver key site KPIs.
• Lead investigations into microbiological results and implement SMART actions.
• Communicate hygiene performance and plans across departments to ensure alignment.
• Manage labour, chemicals and cleaning budgets including forecasting.
• Act as site lead for interim cleaning standards.
