Job summary

Gi Group is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers to join one of the UK's largest parcel delivery networks. You will drive company vehicles safely, load, transport and deliver parcels to depots, hubs and customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. New passes accepted.

Rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay. Shifts run 14:00 to 22:30. Applicants should hold a valid Category C licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and be able to operate mobile IT equipment and complete daily

Qualifications

• Valid Category C licence (Class 2), Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Able to use mobile IT equipment and complete daily paperwork.
• Clear communication with supervisors, colleagues and customers.
• Knowledge of safe and legal HGV driving, including tachograph rules and working time requirements.
• Experience with daily vehicle checks and basic defect reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive/operate vehicles in accordance with safety procedures and legal requirements.
• Load and unload waste materials and tip at facilities per policy.
• Undertake required training and Driver Induction as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily checks.
• Interact politely with colleagues, customers and other personnel.
• Follow reporting procedures.
