Night HGV Class 1 Trunking Driver – Flexible Shifts

Job summary

Driver Require are recruiting for flexible and experienced HGV Class 1 night drivers to carry out a trunking role for one of our renowned clients located in Basildon. The role pays £18.25 per hour PAYE including holiday pay, with night shifts Monday to Sunday. Start times vary from 17:00 to 20:00 and duties include trunking from depot to depot, regular vehicle checks, manual handling, and timely deliveries. Adhoc shifts are available based on client requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license.
• Flexible for ad hoc shifts.
• Valid Tacho and CPC cards.
• Minimum 1 year experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking between depots.
• Regular vehicle checks and safety checks.
• Manual handling of customer products.
• Deliver and transport goods in a timely manner.
