Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Night Driver for ongoing work in the Newport area. You will join a professional transport operation that prioritises driver welfare and reliability. This permanent night role offers regular bookings and a modern fleet.

Pay rates start at £17.50 per hour on standard PAYE, with £19.61 per hour for PAYE with rolled-up holiday pay. Drivers can choose between standard PAYE or rolled-up holiday pay, and there are weekend opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C+E Licence.
• CPC Qualification Card required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good understanding of driver hours legislation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general haulage, trunking and RDC deliveries across the UK.
• Complete deliveries and collections to RDCs, distribution hubs and depots.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts and ensure loads are secure.
