Job summary

Flexible People in Barnsley is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing shifts with varied start times, Monday to Sunday. You will handle store deliveries, RDCs, and trunking between sites, while following WTD and driver hours regulations.

Role requires a valid UK HGV Class 1 Night licence, DCPC, and Tachograph card, plus a professional attitude and safety focus. Ongoing work with night commitments across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 Night (C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC (DCPC).
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD legislation.

Responsibilities

• Drive articulated Class 1 Night/C+E vehicles for deliveries and collections.
• Perform full vehicle safety checks before starting journeys.
• Carry out trunking between sites and deliveries to major distribution centres.
• Support the wider national logistics network when required.
