Job summary

Evri Group is seeking HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join our Bury St Edmunds depot. You will drive longer routes, pick up and deliver parcels safely, and support depot staff with heavier items as needed.

Shifts are full-time, 40 hours per week with some weekends. Night shifts typically start between 00:00 and 02:00, with a pay rate of £17.61 per hour and overtime at £26.42. We offer a pension, life assurance and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 entitlements (Cat C+E).
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph compliance.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome; driving assessment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive longer routes delivering parcels safely from depots to customers.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and updated; assist depot staff with heavier items as needed.
• Monitor road conditions and report any issues; assist with route adjustments.
• Work on night shifts; maintain safe driving and on-time deliveries.
