Job summary

Staffline is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for night ADHOC shifts at Teesport. You will operate modern vehicles, perform pre/post-trip checks and ensure compliance with drivers’ hours and WTD legislation. A valid HGV 1/C+E licence, CPC/Tachograph cards and a clean record with up to 6 points are required.

Excellent communication and safety focus are essential, with shifts starting from 19:00 onwards. On-site parking is available. This role offers flexible ADHOC work with potential for more hours.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence.
• CPC & Tachograph cards required.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD/DR convictions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks and paperwork in line with company policy and legal requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols, use PPE and comply with health and safety regulations.
