Job summary

Sugarman Health & Wellbeing Limited is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant for full-time night shifts in the UK. You will provide overnight care, monitor health conditions, and support service users to stay safe and comfortable throughout the night.

You’ll work with a 2:1 overnight team, receive nurse-led training, and benefit from 24/7 support from management. The role includes weekly pay and accrued holiday pay, with clear opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of UK professional care experience.
• Tracheostomy or PEG feeding experience is a plus, but full training is provided.
• Availability to commit to a full-time night schedule across 5 shifts, including weekends.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK, Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply), and a complete work history on your CV.
• Full UK driving license is preferred, but night commuters are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver overnight personal care, skin integrity monitoring, and repositioning.
• Assist with manual handling and nighttime mobility routines.
• Manage complex clinical tasks like Tracheostomy care and PEG feeding (full training provided).
• Provide quiet companionship and maintain a peaceful environment.
• Administer medication safely (once trained and assessed).
• Maintain accurate overnight logs and report any changes in condition.
