Job summary

The Pallet Network in Swadlincote is seeking reliable Forklift Truck Drivers for our brand-new hub. You will safely operate LPG counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and move palletised freight while keeping accurate records.

Shifts are Monday to Friday nights, 18:00–06:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break, averaging 8.5 hours per day. Earn £17.09 per hour, with bonuses up to £3,400 annually and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence (RTITB or equivalent).
• Good literacy and numeracy for paperwork and freight handling.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate LPG counterbalance forklift trucks to load, unload, move and organise palletised freight.
• Record freight movements using forklift-mounted scanning tech for traceability.
• Follow site procedures for labelling, scanning and placement of goods.
• Work with Team Leaders to achieve daily operational targets.
