Job summary

Compleat Food Group is recruiting a reliable Warehouse Operative (FLT Driver Nights) in Bristol. The role covers ambient and temperature-controlled environments, receiving deliveries, storing materials, picking orders, and dispatch preparation.

You will drive FLT trucks and ensure stock accuracy while maintaining quality and traceability. The position requires FLT licence, strong English literacy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced FMCG warehouse.

Qualifications

• FLT licence required.
• Good level of English literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in FMCG or food warehouse environment preferred.
• Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 credentials preferred.
• IT or warehouse systems experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and store incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, wrap and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load vehicles using forklift trucks and warehouse lifting equipment.
• Ensure stock accuracy and correct rotation (FIFO).
• Use warehouse systems and scanning equipment to manage stock.
• Carry out quality and expiry checks on materials.
• Ensure allergen materials are stored safely and separately.
• Maintain accurate documentation and product traceability.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
