Job summary

Serco is seeking a Field Officer in Portsmouth to visit individuals in their homes and install tagging equipment. You may work alone or with a Monitoring Support Officer, building trust with clients and contributing to community safety.

The role requires a current UK driver’s license, good written and verbal communication, and a reasonable level of fitness. Training and onboarding will be provided, with a rolling rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communications skills are essential.
• Must have a current valid UK driver’s license.
• Be reasonably fit to perform the duties of the role.

Responsibilities

• Visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment.
• Work alone or with a Monitoring Support Officer to support the public and the individuals you meet.
• Help reduce pressure on the prison system by assisting ex-prisoners to re-integrate into the community.
