Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is recruiting a Spar Night Customer Team Member to cover the 10pm–2am shift on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The role focuses on delivering friendly, high-standard service to customers while supporting store management in driving sales and profitability.

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will help maintain SPARkling Service, follow security procedures and health and food safety rules, and contribute to a positive, team‑oriented retail environment.

SPAR Night Customer Team Member Intake

Min of 8 hrs per week (possibly more if stores requires)

10pm-2am

Friday, Saturday and Sunday

rate up to £14.25

We have an exciting opportunity for a Spar Night Customer Team Member, who likes to have fun working with a team and is passionate about offering excellent service and standards to our customers. Reporting directly to the Store Management Team you will assist in delivering maximum sales and profit through continuous personal improvement and the provision of friendly, excellent service to customers, colleagues, and visitors.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, friendly, hands‑on and enjoys working in retail.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:

• To deliver customer service in line with SPARkling Service standards
• To contribute ideas for driving the business and it’s team forward
• To use relevant processes and policies to ensure the security of people, stock and cash
• Report all customer complaints to manager on duty
• To comply with relevant legislation and health and food safety responsibilities as defined in the induction period and training
