Job summary

Marie Curie Hospice is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our night-time community-based team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients in their own homes or community settings, focusing on dignity, comfort and individual needs during the night hours.

As a lone worker, you will manage your own workload, respond to changing patient needs, and deliver both personal and clinical care while escalating concerns to senior clinicians within the multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Night shift Healthcare Assistant role in a community setting.
• Ability to work independently as a lone worker.
• Strong communication and observational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and clinical care with dignity and comfort.
• Support with hygiene, nutrition, hydration and observation.
• Escalate concerns to senior clinicians when needed.
• Manage own workload and respond to changing patient needs during the night.
