SuperCare Residential is seeking a Night Coach to provide safety and reassurance during night hours for children in our home. You will maintain a calm, consistent presence, manage night routines, and respond to wakeful moments with trauma-informed strategies.
The role requires experience in SEN or residential childcare, resilience under pressure, and strong English communication. Nights run 22:00–08:00 with a 2 on/2 off rota, plus ongoing training and development opportunities.
A Night Coach at SuperCare provides safety and reassurance when the world is quiet. The children in this home are highly active during the day, but night-time can still bring challenges - sometimes difficulty settling, sometimes waking unsettled or distressed. Your role is to provide calm consistency, making sure they feel safe and supported through the night.
Nights require vigilance as well as compassion. You'll handle routines like hygiene prompting or medication, respond if behaviours escalation, and ensure the home stays peaceful. It's a role for someone calm under pressure, who can bring a steady presence in the small hours.
Your nights will be spent ensuring the children remain safe, cared for, and supported, while keeping the home calm and consistent.
We're seeking someone who can combine attentiveness with empathy, balancing practical vigilance with a nurturing presence.
When you work nights with us, you'll have the same access to excellent training, wellbeing support, and career development as our day staff.
