Job summary

Pharmacy2U is seeking a Responsible Clinical Pharmacist (Nights) in Bardon, Coalville with a hybrid on-site/off-site pattern. The role includes one week on‑site followed by one week working from home and on-site cover during sickness/holiday for the other Responsible Pharmacist.

The position offers an hourly rate of £28, with 31 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday late/overnight shifts and Saturday early shifts.

Qualifications

• Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring safe and compliant operations.
• Clinically check NHS and private prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness and safety.
• Provide professional medicines advice on interactions, side effects and minor ailments.

Responsibilities

• Assume Responsible Pharmacist duties and maintain legal, ethical and GPhC‑compliant governance.
• Oversee safe and effective dispensary operations in a high‑volume environment.
• Clinically check all NHS and private prescriptions for accuracy, dosage and safety.
• Ensure prescription queries are managed within SLAs to support patient safety.
• Review incidents, near misses and risks and upscale where needed.
• Provide clinical guidance to the dispensary and facility operations teams.
• Liaise with cross‑functional teams to resolve prescription issues.
• Support patient counselling and advise on interactions and adverse effects.
