Job description

As a Night Cleaner, you will play an essential role in ensuring that all public areas and meeting spaces are cleaned, presented, and maintained to a high standard overnight. Duties include:

  1. Carrying out thorough cleaning of public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and leisure facilities.
  2. Preparing and resetting meeting rooms and public spaces for the following day's events.
  3. Handling cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe and professional manner.
  4. Supporting the wider night team in maintaining safety and cleanliness standards across the hotel.
  5. Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards encountered during your shift.
  6. Following all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
  7. Working collaboratively as part of a team led by our experienced Night Manager.

Essential skills include:

  • Attention to detail: ensuring guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Time management skills: managing time effectively to complete all cleaning tasks within the allotted timeframe.
  • Communication skills: effectively communicating with hotel staff and guests, including responding to guest requests and inquiries.
