Job summary

A Class 2 Driver is required for a fish production company in Ponders End to deliver fresh products on scheduled night routes. This permanent, full‑time role offers consistent Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday night shifts starting at 11:00pm, with 10‑hour shifts and a dedicated vehicle.

You will handle multi‑drop deliveries up to 24kg, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure loads and delivery notes match; CPC and Tachograph cards are required along with a valid Class 2 licence.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi‑drop delivery experience preferred.
• Physically fit and able to handle products up to 24kg.

Responsibilities

• Assist with movement and handling of boxes weighing 1kg–24kg.
• Support loading activities prior to departure.
• Count delivery units and verify loads before leaving the site.
• Check and double‑check delivery notes against loaded stock.
• Complete between 3 and 10 deliveries per shift.
• Deliver products safely, professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of customer service at delivery locations.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Return completed paperwork and report any discrepancies.
