Pertemps Enfield is recruiting on behalf of a well-established fish production company for a reliable Class 2 Driver to join their night distribution team in Brimsdown, Enfield. This permanent Full-Time role offers a fixed night route, a dedicated vehicle, and a 10-hour shift guarantee.

Shift patterns include Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday nights with a start time of 11:00 pm. You will deliver fresh products safely and on time, assist with loading, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence and CPC/digital tachograph card.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred.
• Physically able to handle up to 24 kg.
• Reliable and punctual with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh products to customers safely and on time.
• Assist warehouse with order preparation and loading.
• Maintain a consistent delivery route and vehicle.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Verify loads against delivery notes and paperwork.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established fish production company for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join their night distribution team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with guaranteed hours, a consistent route, and your own dedicated vehicle.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering fresh products to customers safely and on time. Prior to commencing deliveries, you will support the warehouse operation by assisting with the preparation and loading of orders.

This role offers a structured working pattern, with the same delivery route and vehicle assigned, helping you build familiarity with customers and delivery locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the movement and handling of boxes of fish weighing between 1kg and 24kg


• Supporting loading activities prior to departure


• Counting delivery units and verifying loads are accurate before leaving site


• Checking and double-checking delivery notes against loaded stock


• Completing between 3 and 10 deliveries per shift


• Delivering products safely, professionally and efficiently


• Maintaining high standards of customer service at delivery locations


• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations


• Returning completed paperwork and reporting any discrepancies

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence


• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card


• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred


• Good attention to detail when checking orders and delivery documentation


• Physically fit and comfortable handling products up to 24kg


• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude


• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
