Job summary

CrossReach in Scotland invites applications for a Night Care Worker in our Inverness care home. You will help create a safe, comfortable and reassuring environment for residents overnight, supporting wellbeing, dignity and independence.

You will provide personal care, wellbeing checks and respond to calls for assistance, working as part of a compassionate team to keep residents safe and supported through the night.

Qualifications

• You will be caring, reliable and committed to supporting older people to live well.
• You will hold or be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
• This role requires PVG Scheme membership and registration with the SSSC.

Job description

As a Night Care Worker in our care home, you will help create a safe, comfortable and reassuring environment for residents throughout the night. While the home may be quieter, your role remains vital in supporting residents' wellbeing, dignity and independence.

Whether you're providing personal care, offering reassurance or carrying out regular wellbeing checks, you'll help ensure residents feel safe, supported and cared for during the night.

About You

You will be caring, reliable and committed to supporting older people to live well. You'll be confident working as part of a team and able to remain calm and professional in a variety of situations. Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential. We're equally interested in people with the right values, a willingness to learn and a genuine desire to support others.

You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.
