Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Residential Senior Care Assistant at one of our UK care homes. You will lead a team of care staff, ensuring person-centred care and high standards of service.

Responsibilities include training and supervising shifts, administering and ordering medication, reviewing care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams and residents' families. We value warmth, compassion and commitment.

Qualifications

• The candidate will have prior experience in a residential care setting and strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions supporting residents' wellbeing.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to personalised care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff with training, supervision and delegation on shift.
• Assist with administration and ordering of medication and maintain care plans and risk assessments.
• Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and residents' family members to ensure quality care.
