Lifeways is seeking a Night Support Worker in Colchester to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing during overnight hours. You’ll monitor needs, support personal care where needed, and contribute to a calm, secure environment as part of a compassionate team.

Role involves night-time duties with a rotating schedule; full flexibility is required to cover shifts, with a focus on promoting independence and dignity for those we support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to residents' needs during the night
• Support with personal care as required
• Maintain a calm, safe environment for restful sleep
• Record and report changes in health or behaviour
• Promote independence and dignity in interactions
• Assist with morning routines and day preparation
• Respond to emergencies following protocols
• Keep accurate documentation and handover notes
