About The Role

Night Care & Support Assistant

Location : Wickmeads - Residential Home -BH6 4LG

Pay Rate :£12.50 -£12.75 per hour +paid breaks

Hours:36.75 hours per week - 3 nights per week

Shifts : 19.45 - 08.00(includes alternate weekendworking)

We have an exciting opportunity for a NightCare & Support Assistantto join the TEAM at Wickmeads,our residential care home, located a stone's throw from the idyllic Tuckton Gardens and River Stour,Christchurch, Dorset.

You'll need to be naturally compassionate and of course understanding of others.

Previous care experience is not essential.

A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you.

What you will be doing:

• Delivering excellent person centred care.
• Supporting & encouraging our residents to remain as independent as possible.
• Checking on residents on a regular basis - moving & positioning if required
• Providing elements of personal care including washing & undressing where needed.
• Building relationships and providing companionship
• Working in a team to create a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the home.
