Job summary

Cheywynd House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Night Care Manager to lead the night care team and ensure residents receive exceptional, person-centred care in a safe, well-managed environment in Nottingham.

You will oversee care planning, medication management, regulatory compliance with CQC, and mentor staff while providing hands-on support. A full UK driving licence and experience in care home leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential.
• Experience in care home management or senior leadership.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
• Experience with medication management and care records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night care operations and ensure person-centred care.
• Lead, supervise, and develop night care team; provide hands-on support.
• Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with Home Manager on admissions, audits and service improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are met.
