Are you an experienced carer with a desire to progress your career to the next level?

Do you prefer to work nights?

Our care teams make a real difference every day, and your professionalism, teamed with kindness and compassion, will be at the core of everything you do. Leading a small team of carers, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of our residents and the home in general. You’ll ensure that care plans are regularly reviewed, understand the importance of maintaining accurate records, and manage your time and your team’s effectively to support our residents’ wellbeing. Some shifts might be challenging, but you’ll also laugh, have fun, and make lasting memories with our residents.

By joining us, you’ll become part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside passionate team members dedicated to providing care, warmth, and kindness to everyone in our homes.

Located in Old Sarum, just north of Salisbury, Avon Court and Bourne House make up Avonbourne Care Centre. Each offers an elegant environment with compassionate, individualized care in welcoming, homely households. The team provides tailored support depending on residents' needs, from assistance with daily tasks to more specialized nursing and dementia care.

AND IN RETURN

The Trust is a great place to work; we’ve been providing care for almost 1,000 years and are the second-largest not-for-profit provider in the UK. We reinvest every penny into our residents, colleagues, and care homes. We offer a competitive salary, training, development, and safety measures like PPE and daily testing.

Benefits include:

  • 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
  • A Company pension
  • Free uniform
  • Free DBS
  • Higher pay rates at weekends
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme
  • Care Worker Charity membership for wellbeing and financial aid
  • Refer a Friend scheme with rewards for successful recommendations
  • Blue Light Card and “My Rewards” discounts

ABOUT YOU
