Job summary

Patron House in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol is seeking kind and compassionate Day and Night Care Assistants to join our residential care home for older people and those with dementia. No prior experience or qualifications are required; we will train you to become an excellent care worker and support residents with dignity and respect.

Duties include assisting with personal care, helping with meals, and enabling activities such as arts and crafts, sports, and social events to promote wellbeing.

We’re Patron House, a Residential Care Home in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol and we provide residential care and support services for older people and people with dementia.

We’re seeking to recruit some great new "social care" workers; people with the right values and attitude to work in our Care Home – could this be you? We currently have opportunities available for Day and Night Care Assistants.

Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right attitude and behaviours to match our own! You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications to get started – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker.

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. Duties may include supporting with personal care needs, as well as supporting with meals and helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching the football, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.
