Night Care Assistant - Part Time

Koinonia Christian Care Home is seeking a friendly and approachable individual to join our dedicated team, caring for our vulnerable Christian residents. This role offers support for career progression within the care sector, including assistance in achieving Health & Social Care qualifications.

Located in Worthing, West Sussex, Koinonia offers accommodation for 38 residents, including those with dementia. View our stunning home.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, professional care to residents.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, such as bathing.
• Support residents with eating and drinking.
• Build relationships to comfort and reassure residents.
• Respect individual needs and dignity.
• Promote independence and community involvement.
• Assist with domestic tasks like tidying, cleaning, and laundry.
• Support end-of-life care.

About you:

• You enjoy working with older people and have empathy for them.
• You are a team player and willing to undertake various tasks to provide excellent care.
• You are well-organized, adaptable, and practical.

Experience and relevant qualifications are preferred for the Night Care Team, but we welcome dedicated learners. Previous care experience is required for this role.

Hours:

• Shifts: 2 nights a week on Wednesday and Friday, from 7:45 pm to morning.
