Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Prior experience as a Support worker or Care Assistant is desirable but training is provided.
• Patient, understanding and respectful of residents' individual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life.
• Provide companionship while offering emotional and practical support.
• Assist residents to participate in daily living decisions.
• Assist residents with personal care and recreational activities.
• Help residents retire for the evening and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep.
• Promote resident independence in meal preparation and mealtimes.
• Work with professionals to develop individualised care plans.
