Job summary

Borough Care is hiring a Night Care Assistant on a fixed-term post for a minimum of six months. You will work the 8pm–8am night shift on a rolling 3 on/3 off rota, earning £14.24 per hour. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided, and generous benefits are offered.

You will help residents with personal care, meals and daily living activities, supporting wellbeing and comfort in a not-for-profit home across Stockport and Staffordshire.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Kind, compassionate and friendly manner with a genuine wish to help others.
• Willing to work night shifts on a rolling 3 on/3 off rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for residents, assisting with personal care such as dressing, washing and meals.
• Support residents who cannot move independently and help with daily activities.
• Follow care plans and promote residents’ wellbeing and dignity.
