Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking a Care Assistant for night shifts at Brindley Court, Longport, Stoke-on-Trent. This permanent full-time role (33 hours) offers £13.45 per hour and a supportive team dedicated to compassionate, person-centred care.

You will help residents with daily living, maintain dignity, assist with mobility, support wellbeing, and contribute to a warm, home-like environment across evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Residents with daily living.
• Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs (physical, emotional and spiritual).
• Pay particular attention to residents with limited mobility or learning difficulties.
• Closely monitor Residents who may be confused or have behavioural problems.
• Assist in the promotion of continence and care for residents who are dying or ill.
• Observe care planning and complete written daily records.
• Assist in social activities and activities in the Home.
• Respond to Nurse call system, door, and telephone promptly.
• Report on residents\' well-being under supervision.
• Carry out regular checks on Residents as directed.
• Make Visitors welcome and provide refreshments as needed.
• Make and change beds; keep rooms clean and tidy; manage waste disposal policies.
• Maintain and clean equipment used by Residents.
