Healthcare Management Trust in Littlehampton is looking for a caring Care Assistant to help residents lead more independent lives and enjoy daily moments of comfort and joy.

You will support personal care, mobility, and daily living activities, while maintaining accurate records on our electronic systems and working closely with the multi-professional team. The role offers flexible night shifts, permanent full-time employment, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• A vocational qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• A compassionate, empathetic, and friendly attitude with a person-centred approach to care.
• Excellent verbal, written, and language skills to communicate with residents and the team.
• High accountability, time-management skills, and the ability to safely manage workload with limited supervision.
• Ability to stay calm, solve problems on your feet, and adapt as services grow.
• Growth mindset and willingness to engage in further training.
• Respect for GDPR, safeguarding, health & safety, and resident confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily experiences that promote independence and joy to residents.
• Support residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and daily living needs.
• Help residents stay mobile and comfortable using safe moving and handling techniques.
• Communicate warmly with residents and the multi-professional team.
• Keep accurate, confidential records on our electronic systems.
