Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking a Night Care Assistant for a Weston-super-Mare care home. You will provide companionship, personal care and night-time support to residents to ensure comfort and safety.

This part-time role (24 hours weekly) includes alternate weekends. A minimum 12 months right to work in the UK is required; full training will be provided to prepare you for the duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
• There is one part time position available working 24 hours per week, to include alternate weekends.
• Experience in a care role is desirable, however full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible.
• Social activities - Trips out and activities within the home.
