A local government entity in Cowbridge is seeking to hire a caregiver to provide personal, physical, and emotional care for older people, particularly those living with dementia. This part-time role entails night shifts, requiring effective communication skills and experience in personal care. Applicants should have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

About the role:
Pay Details: Qualified to City and Guilds level 2 (Core and Practice) or equivalent: Grade 4 - £24,790 to £25,584 pro rata, £12.85 - £13.26 /hr.
Unqualified/working toward City and Guilds level 2 (Core and Practice): Grade 3 – £24,404 pro rata, £12.65 /hr.
Hourly rate enhancements are paid for unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays (plus lieu day for bank holidays)
Hours of Work: 1 vacancy - 20 hours per week
Working pattern: 4-week rota / Monday to Sunday
Shift hours: 9pm - 7am
Description: To provide personal, physical & emotional care in a residential setting at night, for older people and older people who live with dementia. Visa Sponsorship: Please note that this position does not offer visa sponsorship and candidates must have the right to work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship.
About you / You will need:
• Experience of providing person centred personal care, support with acts of daily living and emotional support to vulnerable adults
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Willingness to participate in training and work toward a professional vocational qualification
