Job description

Our purpose-built care home in Wolverhampton provides high quality Residential, Dementia and Respite care for up to 81 residents. We are proud to offer a warm and supportive environment where both residents and staff truly feel at home.

We are now looking for a kind and reliable Care Assistant to join our team. Whether you are experienced or just starting out in care, if you have a genuine passion for helping others, we would love to hear from you.

What We Offer:

• £12.21 per hour
• Contracted to 36 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension scheme, free uniform and onsite parking
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Your Role:
As Care Assistant, you will support our residents with their daily routines, always promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You will follow personalised care plans, assist with meals, personal care, and mobility, and help create a positive, respectful atmosphere throughout the home. Whether you are offering a helping hand, sharing a chat, or simply being there with a smile, your presence will truly make a difference.

What We’re Looking For:

• SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred
• Ideally, at least 6 months of experience in a care role
• A kind, respectful and patient approach
• A team player with good communication skills
• A genuine interest in caring for the elderly
