Job summary

Belong Warrington is seeking compassionate Night Care Assistants to support older residents through night hours in a welcoming village setting. You will deliver personal care with respect, help residents feel safe, and maintain a calm, welcoming environment during the night shift.

The role requires care experience, strong communication, and a patient, person-centred approach. Ongoing training and DBS checks are provided as part of a supportive employer.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Care Certificate or higher qualification preferred.

About The Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you'll work as part of a supportive household team, helping our customers feel safe, comfortable and cared for throughout the night.

You’ll provide high-quality personal care and emotional support while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing. You’ll build meaningful relationships with customers and help create a calm and welcoming environment where people feel valued and respected.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing person-centred care and support to older people
• Assisting with personal care and night-time routines
• Supporting residents with mobility and safe moving practices
• Responding to residents' needs throughout the night
• Promoting dignity, privacy and independence at all times
• Providing companionship and reassurance when needed
• Monitoring residents' health, wellbeing and comfort
• Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent standards of care
• Building positive relationships with residents and their families

About You

We're looking for someone who is caring, reliable and committed to delivering outstanding support.

Essential

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, Care Certificate and above
• Previous experience working in a care environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate and person-centred approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, professional and flexible in your approach to work

Desirable

• Experience supporting older people
• Experience working with people living with dementia
• Knowledge of person-centred care practices
