Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a Care Assistant for a 12-hour per week night shift in a UK-based care home. You will support residents with daily living, help with meals, and provide companionship and personal care to ensure comfort and safety throughout the night.

The role values empathy, clear communication, and reliability. Training is provided, and you’ll work as part of a compassionate team dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that supports residents’

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is 12h contract per week. Nights

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You'll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship and sharing great moments and memories too. It's a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to a fulfilling environment. As a Care Assistant, you could be doing anything from supporting residents with their food and drink and following care plans to ensuring that each of our residents has one-to-one time. To join us as a Care Assistant you'll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills.
