Barchester Healthcare is seeking a caring and reliable Care Assistant in our UK care home. You will support residents with daily living, assist with meals and personal care, and provide companionship while following individual care plans to ensure comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for older people is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families and colleagues.
• Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily living activities (feeding, bathing, dressing).
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and medication reminders as directed by care plans.

About The Role

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You'll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship and sharing great moments and memories too. It's a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to a fulfilling environment. As a Care Assistant, you could be doing anything from supporting residents with their food and drink and following care plans to ensuring that each of our residents has one-to-one time. To join us as a Care Assistant you'll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills.
