Home: Buckler’s Lodge, Location: Woodcote Green, Crowthorne, Bracknell Forest, Berkshire RG45 6HZ

Pay details: £12.88- £13.51 per hour, Hours: Full-time and Part-time hours available, Shifts: 8 pm- 8 am including weekends

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living. This includes assisting residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet, as well as promoting and adhering to our workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.

Responsibilities
  • Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
  • Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
  • Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
Requirements
  • An understanding of the needs of residents
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable)
  • Experience of providing care (Desirable)
  • Experience of working with elders (Desirable)
